The 17th commemoration event was inspired by the gematria “good” and 5772, “72” as gematria of “chessed”. With Ima Rachel’s midos of goodness and chessed, her roadmap is “Derech Eretz”. Because of continued education and dealing with life’s realities, RCRF has defined Derech Eretz with the Seven R’s: Roots, Remembrance, Rectification, Righteousness, Rights, Responsibility and Redemption. RCRF will be awarding students of participating schools for their essays and poems on these 7 aspects of Derech Eretz. Email entries to Contact RCRF for details. Gamza L’Tova, “We Are Rachel’s Children” lyrics by Evelyn Haies, music by Cecelia Margules, vocal by Michael Elias was sung from the Dome of Rachel’s Tomb. This exciting production of a Music Video by Danny Finkelman will be introduced by Cecelia Margules. This years honorees, Shirley Heller obm, Rabbi BenZion Klatzko, Hon. Ari Kagan, Sgt Richard Taylor, Dov Shurin, Chaim Deutsch. From petitioning for keeping one Egged 163 bus, increasing the numbers to 8, there are now double buses and more riders add bus after bus. In addition to regular weekly shiurim, RCRF has hosted in Beit Bnei Rachel such great Jewish leaders as HaRav Mayer Horowitz, the Bostoner Rebbe of Har Nof, Rabbi Judge Yitzckak Breitowitz, HaRav Benyamin Levene, Rabbi and author Hanoch Teller, Rabbi Dr. Joseph Klausner, Rabbi Efraim Sprecher, Rabbi Shimshon Nadel, Rabbi Eliyahu Yaakov, Rabbi Abraham Sutton, Rabbi Baruch Rubanowitz as well as Atara Gur, Rebbitzen Heller, Esther KiTov and Miriam Adahan, Your donations that have brought 2 RCRF Sefer Torahs to Kever Rachel will help hire full time help and develop Midreshet Chaya Rachel and Ruth, the Museum of Jewish Aliyah, the Biblical Garden with Chuppah. This 18th year RCRF hosted Rosh Hoshanah in Beit Bnei Rachel. Volunteer, visit, support, expand RCRF’s activities that keep making a difference.
